Natural colours are obtained from natural raw materials.
The conditions for growth during cultivation and harvesting of the natural raw materials (for example incident sunlight and temperature) influence the resulting quality and available quantity of the colours. As a result, their composition is subject to slight natural variations.
During application of natural colours, it should generally be remembered that their stability is limited in certain pH ranges and in the presence of heat and/or light, and their potential uses must be subjected to stability tests on the relevant final product.
Our natural colours can be divided into products with an E-number and those without (so-called "clean-label” products). Clean-label products are ingredients with colouring properties. In addition to this subdivision, there are other properties of our products that make our portfolio very diverse. These include different solubilities as well as different color strengths.
